Secret Invasion will be a Disney+ series that stars Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as the Skrull Talos from Captain Marvel and Spider-Man: Far From Home. Kingsley Ben-Adir (One Night in Miami) has joined the series as the main villain. His character is being kept under wraps. It’s pretty easy to assume that Kingsley Ben-Adir will probably be playing a major villain for Marvel Studios. He’s a talented actor and whoever Nick Fury and Talos are facing during Secret Invasion must be a massive threat.
Secret Invasion will be a Disney+ series that will be a crossover comic event that showcases a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years. If the Disney+ series is anything like its comic counterpart then this series will have major ramifications for the MCU for years to come.
Kyle Bradstreet is attached to write and executive produce the series.
Secret Invasion is just one of many Marvel Studios Disney+ series to be released in the coming years. It was announced during Disney’s Investor Day and it also shows that Disney+ will be a destination for the MCU.
