A few weeks before the April 11th public registration day for the races, runDisney has announced the themes for the Walt Disney World 2024 Marathon Weekend.
While there are no major surprises in the race theming, the new promotional artwork is attractive and features a lot of nice park-based element details.
The 5K race will be themed by Pluto as your best friend!

The 10K is Chip ‘n Dale themed.

The Half Marathon is themed after Donald and Daisy Duck.

The full Marathon is themed after Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

As always there are several multi-race challenges such as the Goofy Challenge which requires completion of both the Half and Full Marathons…

And the Dopey Challenge for the successful completion of all four races.

Also, this year marks the return of the Disneyland Half Marathon which means there is also the Coast to Coast Challenge where you finish a Half or Full at WDW and another Half at Disneyland.

Registration for these events begins on April 11th, 2023 at 10 A.M. EST and tends to sell out anywhere between a few minutes to a few hours, depending on the race.
