CityWalk
Starting off at CityWalk, the AMC theater has switched its promotion from Mario to FAST X which comes out in a few weeks.
Just to the left over at the former Starbucks location work walls have gone up promoting that a new experience is coming to this location. There have been persistent rumors of a Tribute Store coming to either the park or CityWalk as earlier this year the team that designs the Tribute Stores in Orlando was spotted here in Hollywood.

It is nice to finally see some serious work on this location after months of interior work and no real sign of what was to come. Before we head into the park, I wanted to point out that Universal was setting up for an event in the former Saddleranch Plot and it looked pretty extensive.

Universal Plaza Unveiled!
Heading into the park now, let’s check up on Halloween Horror Nights construction as well as progress on the Universal Plaza.

Taking a look at the newly unveiled plaza, you can see they took out all the fountains that they never used anyway and replaced all the tile work in preparation for upcoming events such as the FAST X promotion and Gradbash which starts May 12th.

Halloween Horror Nights Construction
Taking a look at the construction for Halloween Horror Nights (HHN), the houses are starting to really ramp up now with almost every one of them under construction and with a façade. Taking a look at the house in the Parisian Courtyard, this house is looking very good with a really detailed façade and is looking almost complete from the façade standpoint.

Hedges have also been set up for the house going into the former The Walking Dead space.

Heading down to the Lower Lot to check up on the house that usually goes by The Mummy and even though permits were filed and issued, nothing has popped up just yet.

The house behind Transformers is going full force and is working on its façade.

Rumor has it that the Waterworld area will host the show for HHN this year as there is no other large show venue available.

NBCUniversal Campus
Checking up on the Campus project, things are progressing nicely and the tower crane has even been taken down.

Super Nintendo World Update
Quickly checking on Super Nintendo World, the area is still as crowded as ever and the Yoshi plushes are back for sale, but you might want to get yours quickly as they are likely to be gone VERY fast!

That is going to do it for this week’s update at Universal Studios! What do you think of all the Halloween Horror Nights houses going up? The thought of a new or returning show using the Waterworld stage? What do you think the new experience coming to CityWalk is going to be?
