Shanghai Disney Resort revealed a plethora of details for its upcoming themed land based on Zootopia.
Zootopia: Hot Pursuit Attraction

The attraction takes place after the events of the first Zootopia — remember there is a Zootopia 2 in the works. The storyline sees Zootopia residents gearing up for a Zootopia Day concert featuring Gazelle.
Guests will get to be Zootopia Police Department officers in the attraction and will encounter Officer Clawhauser and Chief Bogo.

The story kicks into higher gear when Chief Bogo reveals Gazelle has been kidnapped.

Along with Officer Judy Hopps and her partner, Nick Wilde guests will be thrown into an action-filled police chase that will travel across the many locations of Zootopia including Tundra Town, Sahara Square, Mystic Springs Oasis, and the Rainforest District as you try to save Gazelle.
Character Interactions

The characters of Zootopia will be active in the land.
You’ll be able to encounter Fru Fru and her father Mr. Big, along with Koslov the polar bear, Flash the sloth, Yax the yak, Duke Weaselton the weasel, and even the Hopps family who appear to interact throughout the day from the windows of Zootopia’s beautifully iconic buildings.
During the D23 Expo, we saw some of this entertainment on display and it was pretty unique. I have to assume it will be a big hit and will add more liveliness to the land.
Dining

Jumbeaux’s Cafe, an ice cream shop from Zootopia, will come to life in this land. The cafe will sell paw-shaped popsicles and even Officer Clawhauser’s donuts.

Zootopia will also feature a shopping location called Fashions by Fru Fru, where guests will be able to get many different products themed to Zootopia.
Zootopia is expected to open at Shanghai Disneyland in late 2023.
