Don’t think we haven’t seen the end of our favorite technical pair of everlasting droids. Kathleen Kennedy announced at Disney Investor Day that Threepio and Artoo will be starring in a new animated series called “A Droid Story” coming soon to Disney+.
“This epic journey will introduce us to a new hero guided by our most iconic duo… on a secret mission known only to them,” Kennedy said. “What could possibly go wrong?”
This is a developing story.
