Disney revealed the first look of Tiana, a brand new series coming to Disney+ in 2023. The long-form animated musical series follows the title character after the events of 2009‘s Princess and the Frog.
According to the Disney+ Twitter account, ‘The series follows newly crowned Princess of Maldonia on a new adventure, but her New Orleans past isn’t far behind.”
We have questions!! Who’s going to run Tiana’s Palace while the new princess is away? Will the original cast reprise their roles? Will we get animation similar to “Almost There” for potential flashbacks to “her New Orleans past?” (Just look at the bottom right-hand corner of the image, it’s reminiscent of that scene!)
Will Tiana bring some New Orleans flair to her new kingdom? How will Tiana react to Prince Naveen’s world? So many questions, so much time to speculate! What do you think of the new Tiana show? Tweet us your thoughts!
