As a late 90’s baby, some of my core childhood memories were playing computer games after elementary school. For those of us still in mourning over the death of Adobe Flash Player in 2020, this article is for you!
Sidenote: if anyone knows how to somehow still be able to play some of these games, let me know!! The death of Adobe Flash Player was a travesty in my opinion.
I love being able to look back at some of these games via nostalgic YouTube and Instagram accounts but nothing will beat being able to open my computer to this.
These were the good old days!!
Below, I’ll be sharing my top five favorite games to play on Disney’s website in no particular order. This list does not include ToonTown, which I would happily make another article on if anyone is interested!
Kim Possible — A Sitch in Time
When I think of playing these games in general, this is the first game to come to mind. I remember consistently trying to make it to the end of this one. I loved the storyline and each level’s characters and scenery.
Lilo and Stitch — 625 Sandwich Stacker
This game is probably the most popular when it comes to “nostalgic Disney games,” but I find that it’s for a reason. This game was so much fun and a great way to better incorporate Reuben into the series. I think that this game was so popular because it was so easy to jump in and play. There wasn’t too much dialogue and it was addicting to try and beat your high score!
House of Mouse — Pack the House
House of Mouse was one of my favorite Disney Channel shows growing up and I think it’s criminal that it is not currently on Disney+!
I loved this game because each level offered something different. One of my favorite parts of House of Mouse was the incorporation of other Disney characters and I love that they were also included in this game.
Suite Life of Zack and Cody — London’s Suite Styler
The fashion/beauty games were always super big on disneychannel.com, but I loved that this one had a fun quiz at the end where London picked out your outfit! Being the fashion lover that I am today, it makes a lot of sense that London Tipton was one of my favorite Disney Channel characters.
Kim Possible — Bueno Rufus
I tried to pick only one game per show, but I had so much fun with this one that it had to be on my list! Bueno Rufus was so much fun and I later found that same joy in a similar game that used to be on Club Penguin. The concept was the same, but with pizza instead!
Talking about nostalgic Disney is one of my favorite topics! If you have any suggestions or requests on deep dives/other related articles you would like me to do, please let me know!
