Marvel Studios revealed a lot about their upcoming animated Spider-Man series today at the Marvel Studios animation panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
The series was originally meant to be a prequel to Peter Parker’s adventures in the MCU (Earth 616) but is now taking on a new identity as a new show entirely.

Here we see Norman Osborn (that’s right THE Norman Osborn!) meeting Parker much like Tony Stark did in Captain America: Civil War.

Peter will be joined by notable characters such as Harry Osborn, Amadeus Cho, Nico Minoru, Doctor Strange, and Daredevil who will be voiced by Charlie Cox!

Spidey will face foes such as Doc Ock and Scorpion in this series and have multiple suits throughout the season.

It is unknown how connected this series will be to the MCU if at all, but it’s shaping up to be very exciting.
Marvel Studios Animation has already announced a follow-up season titled Spider-Man: Sophomore Year.
The series is set to premiere in 2024.
