Walt Disney World has released a new promotional poster for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. The timing is on the day of Mickey and Minnie Mouse’s birthday. The first-ever Mickey and Minnie Mouse attraction will be replacing The Great Movie Ride in the Chinese Theater at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The attraction will follow Mickey and Minnie on a wild trip with Goofy as the train conductor. And, as you can tell a scene in the ride will take place underwater. Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will be utilizing new technology. Originally called 2 1/2 D which gives the attraction a 3D-like effect without guests having to put on glasses.
The new attraction will open next spring at Walt Disney World, and in 2022 the attraction will open up in Toontown at Disneyland Resort.
