Marvel Studios’ latest series Loki will now premiere on June 9 instead of June 11. It will also be the first major Disney+ series to come out on Wednesdays instead of Fridays. It seems like the God of Mischief is now messing with Disney+ schedules.

Loki being on Wednesdays now allows it to be on its own day instead of competing with the other Disney+ series (The Bad Batch) and Disney+ films (Luca and Black Widow). This will benefit both Loki and the other content coming to Disney+.
Not much has been revealed about the plot of Loki other than it takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame and that Loki is in some deep waters with the TVA (Time Variance Authority) — an organization that manages the many timelines within the Marvel multiverse.
The series is likely to get a second season as it has been teased numerous times.
Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson (Mobius M. Mobius), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Ravonna Lexus Renslayer), Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku, and Richard E. Grant. The series was written by Michael Waldron (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) and directed by Kate Herron (Sex Education).
