The former pavilion Wonders of Life, older building, recently received a roof refurbishment. Most speculated it was just for the Flower and Garden Festival which is beginning next week. Per WDWNT the pavilion would no longer serve as the Festival Center. Wonders of Life has been the Festival Center for the last 10 years.
Also a tweet from user Backside of Magic revealed the possibility that the pavilion may receive a brand new attraction.
Walt Disney World executives and Imagineers were spotted walking into the attraction. This is a development that has been speculated in the Disney Parks community for quite some time. There has been always intense chatter on what Disney was going to do with the abandon Wonders of Life pavilion. With Bob Chapek and Walt Disney Imagineering’s goal of changing Epcot. It makes sense to check out a great piece of an abandon property.
My bet would be Inside Out because it just makes too sense. Although we do have The Guardians of the Galaxy in Universe of Energy. So we might end up with Black Panther inside the Wonders of Wakanda. Very unlikely but minuswell just throw it out there.
The Wonders of Life pavilion closed in 2007. The Body Wars attraction was reportedly destroyed and Cranium Command has been left pretty much untouched since the closure. It will be interesting to see what Disney ends up doing.
