After playing Spider-Man PS4 I fell in love with the idea of the Marvel Gaming Universe. I love the Marvel Cinematic Universe and that the idea of a similar yet different universe coming to the games was even possible excited me. During Spider-Man PS4, the game itself references different Marvel properties including The Avengers, Fantastic Four, Black Panther, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Inhumans.
Every game I suggest would be done in the style of Spider-Man PS4 due to its fantastic graphics and fun gameplay.
Black Panther
Wakanda as an open world game. Also, imagine the number of spaceships and gadgets you’ll be able to use in Wakanda? Not to mention Black Panther is a fun hero on his own. Add in the Dora Milaje, Shuri, and M’Baku and the Jabari tribe. Now that’s a fun game to explore.
Captain Marvel
A semi-open world game that would follow Carol Danvers also known as Captain Marvel. Marvel could go in a completely different route than the MCU. Similar to the Spider-Man game, maybe they have Captain Marvel be in a period of time where she is on Earth and also traveling around the galaxy.
Maybe the game could introduce Monica Rambeau in her hero form, and Kamala Khan as Ms. Marvel? A Captain Marvel game has serious potential especially if the developers can nail Earth and the galaxy.
Ant-Man and the Wasp
This would be a more challenging game from the standpoint of making the Ant-Man world feel real. And yes, the Marvel Gaming Universe could go in a different direction and do a Hank Pym/ Janet van Dyne game based off the comics. But if they attempted to replicate the MCU version with Hope van Dyne and Scott Lang it would make for a thrilling game.
Ragnarok Game
There isn’t denying a game where you play as Thor, Hulk, and Valkyrie wouldn’t be awesome. Add in locations like Asgard, Sakaar, and other cosmic options and you got a game.
Guardians of the Galaxy
It gives us an excuse to get an awesome in-game soundtrack plus the Guardians with realistic graphics and an open-world concept would be incredible. Not to mention there is a lot of source material to work with.
Fantastic Four
Speaking of the source material. The Fantastic Four could have an incredible game with the number of villains they have faced over the years. Not to mention a game where each members skillset can be utilized. On the plus side, it would be hard to botch a video game version of the Fantastic Four.
Not to mention the game could take place in the same universe as the Spider-Man game without having to worry about the MCU counterparts that will come down the line. Minus well make use of the Baxter Building!
Deadpool
A video game that pokes fun at itself. Deadpool would fit well with the current video game trends also. An open world game featuring some of Deadpool’s friends tagging along would make an addicting game. As long as the game kept Deadpool’s brutal and violent ways. Deadpool the game could have the action, the humor, and the fourth wall jokes that make Deadpool great.
The Obvious: The Entire Marvel Universe with everyone included
It would be pure insanity but a game that was realistic and featured the entire connected universe would be a crowning achievement. It would be phenomenal to see all these characters in action in a realistic and fun space.
