What If…? Season 2 is coming early in 2023.
The creators of What If…? say that season two is even crazier than season one. There was footage that was shown that confirms multiple intriguing scenarios for season two, and attendees of the panel even saw a full episode titled “What if Captain Carter fought the Hydra Stomper?”
Other highlights from the footage that hasn’t been released yet are an episode with Hela, something with Yondu, a young Peter Parker, the Sakaar episode with Tony Stark from season one, Odin and the Asgardians taking on Wenwu and the Ten Rings, and an episode set in Marvel 1602 (a universe created by Neil Gaiman where the Marvel superheroes exist in Elizabethan England).
The creative team behind What If…? also confirmed that their Captain Carter was different than the one that appeared in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Jeffrey Wright will reprise his role as The Watcher for season two. The second season of What If…? will be directed by executive producer Bryan Andrews. Executive producer AC Bradley is the head writer.
