Today at Disney+ Day, Marvel Studios made its splash into the world of animation. But the series that started it all for Marvel Studios in the animation space was What If…?
Now it has been confirmed that the series will get a season two — which is the easiest no-brainer of all time. There is a ton left to explore and Jeffrey Wright’s The Watcher remains one of the most interesting characters in the MCU in his narrator role.
We did podcast episodes for every single episode of What If…? including the season finale. The only things we know about season two so far is that The Watcher will return and that he will meet new heroes and explore strange worlds across the vast multiverse.
No release date was given but I think it’s safe to guess the second season of What If…? would likely arrive in 2022?
Season two will be written by Executive Producer AC Bradley and directed by Bryan Andrews.
