During the IAAPA Expo, I had the opportunity to visit Verge Aero, a company that develops and manufactures the most advanced drone show technologies. Verge Aero specializes in an all-in-one drone entertainment product suite, from the software to the hardware.

I saw the latest Verge Aero product, the Verge Aero X7 drone in action as well. The drone was smooth and followed patterns to a tee. Obviously, I just saw one drone but it was easy to imagine 50 to 500 of these going at once and creating amazing show moments. The Verge Aero X7 aims to further lower barriers to entry into drone entertainment, making it easier for individuals and organizations to produce drone shows of all sizes and complexity for any occasion.

“Verge Aero’s mission is to make drone shows ubiquitous. With our user-friendly show design and management software, Verge Aero drones give operators a complete end-to-end solution at a price point that can enable mass adoption of this exciting, new technology,” Nils Thorjussen, CEO of Verge Aero, said in a statement. “The Verge Aero X7 represents the latest technological breakthroughs to help meet the booming demand for drone shows, with a product that removes the many barriers associated with entering the industry. We’re excited for the Verge Aero X7 to further democratize the drone entertainment industry.”

Verge Aero X7 features advanced GPS capabilities, extended performances, fast charging, resistance against water and wind, backwards compatibility with Verge Aero X1, plus they are built to last.

The X7’s cutting-edge drone hardware is powered Verge Aero’s software built specifically for drone shows, including Verge Aero Design Studio (the drone industry’s most advanced design software), Verge Aero Flight Control Hub (the control center for the flight planning for a user’s fleet), and Verge Aero’s Skystream app (which delivers branding opportunities for operators and enhances audience engagement by delivering high-quality, synchronized audio to spectators’ devices).

All Verge Aero customers also gain access to a vast digital content library, Verge Aero’s global network of customers — other show providers that can share additional information on Verge Aero’s systems, as well as potential partnership opportunities; and dedicated support and training to help anyone, no matter their experience level, get their drone show business off the ground.

Verge Aero’s tech has been used by notable figures and organizations such as Mr. Beast, the Philadelphia Eagles, Joe Biden’s campaign, Kings Island, and various others.
