Today, Universal Orlando Resort shared new details about Minion Land on Illumination Ave. This will be a new immersive area created in partnership between Universal Creative and Illumination.
Illumination’s Minion Cafe will be the marquee dining location within Minion Land. This eatery will offer all types of dishes and will feature three distinct themed areas designed after the Minions. The Kitchen, where guests will see the all the equipment and gear used to “make” the food; the Breakroom where the Minions take their breaks; and the Dining Room that will feature colorful artwork and more.
The menu will be inspired by the Minions franchise. The menu will feature:
Agnes’s Honeymoon Soup
A vegan offering — Carl’s Crisy Cauliflower.
Steak & “Cheese Ray” Sandwich
Bob’s Teddy Bear Chocolate Cream Puff
Mini Boss’ Mega Melt
Otto’s Noodle Bowl
The Minion Cafe will also feature an express window with a limited menu for those looking for a quick bite.
Minion Land will also be home to Bake My Day which will be a retail location and bakery featuring selection of Minion-themed sweet treats, including cupcakes, macarons, s’mores and more, along with exclusive Minion-inspired merchandise like apparel, plush, drinkware, accessories, keychains and more.
To top it all off Minion Land will be getting a new attraction this summer. Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast — which replaced Shrek 4D — will be an attraction where guests compete against each other in a interactive gaming experience. More details about Villain-Con Minion Blast will be revealed soon.
Minion Land opens this summer at Universal Studios Florida.
