Universal Is Finally Going To Utilize ‘Jurassic World’ At Universal Studios Hollywood
Jurassic Park: The Ride will be going extinct this fall.

Universal Studios Hollywood just announced Jurassic Park: The Ride will close on September 3. It will make way for a new, updated Jurassic World Ride. Here is Universal’s announcement video.
Universal Studios Hollywood described what riders would entail on this new experience.
Drawing from the favorite elements of the original “Jurassic Park — The Ride,” this next-generation “Jurassic World Ride” will be a fully reimagined iteration of the ground-breaking adventure, elevating every facet of the experience. With the introduction of never-before-seen dinosaurs, enhanced storytelling, lush scenic design, an entirely new color scheme and uncompromised state-of the art technology, the ride will capture elements never experienced within a theme park.
What does this mean for Universal Orlando’s Jurassic Park Ride? Orlando Sentinel is already speculating that construction at the Orlando theme park is going to begin soon. So stay tuned for the possibility of a new Jurassic World experience coming to Universal Studios Orlando.
I have said from the beginning of the Boardwalk Times if Universal wants to continue to compete with Disney they are going to have to pull out Jurassic World. The movie is literally based in a theme park. This could be a great counter for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge although I don’t think Universal Studios has the space for a full out Jurassic World land. Although a land would make sense considering Jurassic World has broken opening weekend records before. Plus who hasn’t dreamed of stepping into Jurassic Park or World?
Even though losing Jurassic Park: The Ride will be tough for some Universal fans. Universal Creative will surely deliver with an incredible Jurassic World attraction that is updated and fresh.
