A dark ride roller coaster based on the Uncharted franchise is coming to PortAventura World in 2023.
The dark ride roller coaster will be a collaboration between Sony, Sally Dark Rides, and Intamin. It will be an immersive experience with five launches and 2,300 feet of track. Guests will step into Nate and Sully’s shoes and go on their own white-knuckle, treasure-hunting race to find r one of the greatest treasures ever found.
The attraction will cost $26 million and will also include an elaborate pre-show. It’s unclear if Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg will reprise their roles as Nate and Sully for the attraction. Holland has already appeared in a theme park attraction before as he was in Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure for the Disney Parks.
Released in February, Uncharted made $401 million at the global box office. It’s no wonder PortAventura World wanted to utilize this intellectual property.
