Tokyo Disneyland will be opening “New Fantasyland” on April 15, 2020. The new area will feature the Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast attraction and the indoor Fantasyland Forest Theatre.
The “New Fantasyland” expansion will feature Belle’s Village which includes Maurice’s Cottage, Gaston’s fountain, restaurants, and shops. Also in the land will be a Beauty and the Beast castle which houses the new Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast attraction. The attraction is a musical adventure and the vehicles will dance to the film’s iconic soundtrack. Deeper into the land there will be the Fantasyland Forest Theatre, which marks first full-scale indoor theater at Tokyo Disneyland.
Yet, that’s not all for Tokyo Disneyland guests on April 15, 2020. New experiences will also be opening in Toontown and Tomorrowland. The Happy Ride with Baymax will open. The swirling attraction will be the first attraction for the Big Hero 6 franchise. Over in Toontown, guests will have the opportunity to meet Minnie Mouse at Minnie’s Style Studio.

The future looks bright for Tokyo Disneyland. The Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast looks to be an incredible dark ride. The whole “New Fantasyland” area looks like a welcomed addition to Tokyo Disneyland.
The next big Tokyo Disneyland will be at Tokyo DisneySea in 2022 when the park receives “Fantasy Springs” which is an area similar to Fantasyland. The new “Fantasy Springs” area will feature “Arendelle: World of Frozen”, a Tangled themed area including an attraction, and a Peter Pan area with an updated attraction.
