Thunderbolts, a team of Marvel anti-heroes grouped together, will finally be getting a film after long being rumored with appearances of Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ Val in Black Widow and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

The film will release on July 26, 2024, and the roster is currently unknown. Some guesses have included a team made up of Taskmaster, Abomination, Zemo, Ghost, Yelena Belova, and John Walker as U.S. Agent.
It is unknown how the film will handle the loss of William Hurt who played Thadeus “Thunderbolt” Ross in the MCU. The group in the comics is named after his nickname, hence “The Thunderbolts.”
Marvel Studios has tapped Jake Schreier to direct Thunderbolts. Black Widow and Thor: Ragnarok scribeEric Pearson will be penning the script.
