About Themed Entertainment Jobs:

In the spring of 2019, Dave Hall moved to Orlando in pursuit of a job in themed entertainment. He spent countless hours scrolling through company websites, professional associations, and more, searching for a position. Before long, it was clear to Dave that the job search process could be simplified for the next great generation of themed entertainment professionals.

Thus, Themed Entertainment Jobs got its start with just one page for Orlando. On launch day, Brynn Gelerman volunteered to run a page for LA. Early in the pandemic when jobs were scarce, Dave expanded into other regions of the US and the world, recruiting volunteers to help update everything manually.

After months of work updating by hand, Reid Baris, a student at Tufts University, volunteered to write Python scripts to update the jobs and posts automatically. Since its founding in 2019, Themed Entertainment Jobs has connected the industry’s best talent to companies across the globe. With an organic, monthly reach of over 6,000 views, Themed Entertainment Jobs continues to be volunteer-run and regularly features over 7,500 jobs over 31 countries.

Boardwalk Times will be at IAAPA providing coverage of the event. So, make sure to follow along with the site to see what stories come out of IAAPA. We’re excited to see everyone in person and celebrate this wonderful industry.
