Disney Adventure World, the renamed Disneyland Paris’ second park, is going to get a major addition. The park will be receiving a new The Lion King land that will feature a ride-through attraction. There will also be shopping, dining, and meet and greets in the area. If I were a betting man the name of this area will be called Pride Rock: The Land of The Lion King.
The attraction will show Simba’s journey from cub to King. This is expected to be a book report-style ride based on the 1994 animated classic. It will be a log flume attraction similar to Splash Mountain and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

Imagineers created a model for D23 with a ton of details and showcased the signature attraction as well.

Now we have to address the elephant in the room. This is a massive addition to Disneyland Paris Resort. Yet we know a franchise like The Lion King won’t be regulated to one Disney resort. There are currently rumors that Disney will be adding another E-Ticket attraction to Animal Kingdom in addition to the Tropical Americas land. It’s been heavily rumored that The Lion King attraction here may also be coming to the Animal Kingdom.
We’re fairly confident The Lion King attraction coming to Animal Kingdom will happen in the near future.
For now, we can wait for the version coming to Disney Adventure World.
