After rumors surfaced that the Christmas time overlay was not returning. It seems like Disney has proven the rumors false. At least for Walt Disney World at the Magic Kingdom. The status of the Jungle Cruise becoming the Jingle Cruise at Disneyland is still up in the air.
The Magic Kingdom will continue bringing holiday joy this season. The Jingle Cruise is a fun overlay. The normally witty Jungle Cruise gets Christmas themed jokes.
It’s surprising it took Disney this long to confirm The Jingle Cruise was returning to Walt Disney World. I’m also surprised Disney isn’t doing more holiday overlays at the Magic Kingdom. Disney has been in a overlay type mode as of late. So not having tons of holiday overlays is fascinating.
The Jingle Cruise will be returning soon. Boardwalk Times will keep you updated if the situation changes.
