For the first time in Disney Parks history, our favorite heroes will be connecting throughout parks on three different continents with the hopes to connect a new generation of heroes — The Avengers Initiative.
Earlier this year, the Disney Parks Blog announced various Marvel expansions coming to California Adventure in Anaheim, Hong Kong Disneyland in China, and Disneyland Paris.

Now, these expansions have stories that make the Marvel Universe come to life even more than it had before.
This new global initiative is “to better defend the planet, the Avengers are setting up new Headquarters and technology sharing exchanges around the globe to empower and inspire all potential recruits willing to step up and become heroes,” according to the Disney Parks Blog.
In California Adventure, guests are already helping the Guardians of the Galaxy escape the Tivan Collection in Mission: BREAKOUT! Soon, guests will be learning from Spider-Man and Doctor Strange from both Anaheim and Paris. Plus there will be an Ant-Man themed eatery coming to both parks.
Disney patented new ride technology last year. Will we be swinging through New York City with Peter Parker soon?

In Hong Kong, guests have been battling HYDRA’s forces with the Iron Man Experience and, coming in March 2019, will be able to shrink down and join Scott Lang in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle, which looks like an upgraded Buzz Light Year Space Ranger Spin.

We should learn more about the Marvel attractions and plans at this year’s D23 Expo.
Recruitment begins soon, according to Disney. Will the final expansion be done sooner than 2020, the original plan? What do you think of the expansions? Leave a comment below or tweet us @BoardwalkTimes on Twitter!
