Disney has announced the return of the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World. The resort is planning on opening more Disney hotels on the property this summer as vaccination rates rise and guests return.
The Disney College Program relaunches in June. DCP participants whose program ended early or was suspended in 2020 can reapply for the program. The relaunched program will also have a simplified application process. Disney has also temporarily modified some of the eligibility requirements so students who graduated during the pandemic can still apply. Disney is also developing new ways for DCP participants to connect with Disney professionals and explore various roles for their future careers.
Disney is eager to get the Disney College Program back at Walt Disney World. Disney CEO Bob Chapek is on the record saying the program is a “tremendous asset.” Chapek also followed up on his promise to a shareholder who asked about students who were affected by the pandemic being grandfathered into the program.
The Disney International Programs, Disney Culinary Program, and the College Program at Disneyland Resort will return at a later date.
The Disney College Program also has a new website. So, if you want to get your College Program journey started you can click here.

The new Disney College Program participants will stay at the state-of-the-art Flamingo Crossings Village complex. Fully vaccinated participants will get the opportunity to live with other fully vaccinated participants.
