Netflix and experience discovery platform Fever have teamed up for a new immersive experience from the world of Stranger Things.
Stranger Things: The Experience launches at The Duggal Greenhouse in the Brooklyn Navy Yard on May 7. Fans will enter a experience full of 80s nostalgia and supernatural mystery. The experience begins Hawkins Plaza — where fans come to discover that things are not what they seem — and eventually find themselves in the darker side of Hawkins Lab and the Upside Down.
The experience will feature a brand new storyline that was developed along with the creators of Stranger Things. After the experience concludes there will be a immersive food and beverage spot and retail.
“The rift is open and we’re excited that our Stranger Things fans will get to jump into the magic once more,” said Greg Lombardo, Head of Experiences at Netflix. “This time they will take on the challenges themselves and work alongside Eleven, Mike, and the rest of the gang to fight the evil monsters plaguing Hawkins. As Dustin would say, you always say we should never stop being curious, to always open any curiosity door we find.”
Stranger Things: The Experience will open up in San Francisco and cities around the world later this year. This continue the trend of location-based experiences becoming more and more popular.
After Stranger Things: The Drive Into Experience and Stranger Things: The Experience you have to assume Netflix has even bigger plans for the Stranger Things property in regards to themed entertainment…
