Star Wars Celebration Japan’s third day came with developers Bit Reactor’s announcement of Star Wars Zero Company. They’re most known for other tactical turn-based games like XCOM and Civilization.
Lucasfilm Games and Respawn Entertainment are working with Bit Reactor to bring the game to store shelves in 2026 for current-gen consoles and PC.
The game is set right during the Clone Wars and has players take control of a former Republic officer named Hawks. The titular Zero Company consists of four characters with unique roles and backstories.
First is Trick the clone, Luco Bronc the Umbaran sharpshooter, Cly Kullervo the Mandalorian, and Tel the Jedi Padawan. They can be commanded to go on certain missions together and grow relationships.
The team’s base is The Den, located on the Ring of Kafrene(which fans recognize from the beginning of Rogue One). Their ship is the Caisson piloted by the droid M-3VO.
Bit Reactor’s Game Director Greg Foertsch and Narrative/Cinematic Director Aaron Contreras noted Andor and Rogue One as being heavy influences on Zero Company.
The game offers customization of combat class, general appearance, load-outs, and specific abilities. The turn-based nature of Zero Company means players must be careful with their chosen loadouts before going into combat scenarios.
There’s much excitement for more stories set within the Clone Wars. Maybe we’ll even come across fan favorites like Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka, Obi-Wan, and the other clones during the game.
More details will surely be revealed as we approach its 2026 release window.
