This summer guests at Disney’s California Adventure will get to experience Avengers Campus. The new land will be opening in phases though. The first phase will include a Spider-Man attraction. Today, although it isn’t part of the attraction, Disney released a video highlight one of their Stuntronics as Spider-Man. Meaning we are going to be a Stuntronics Spider-Man stunt show as part of Avengers Campus.
Spider-Man will be swinging above the rooftops of Avengers Campus. The video below showcases the impressive innovation by Walt Disney Imagineering.

In the summer of 2018, we discussed Disney’s “Stuntronics” development. At the time we even noted that it would likely be for the Spider-Man franchise. The Stuntronics open up a whole new world of possibility. The technology allows the Stuntronics to have precision and accuracy. Although we don’t know for sure if this will happen at Disney’s California Adventure, Stuntronics can fly 60 feet into the air.
It looks like the Spider-Man Stuntronics show will be outside and on the rooftop of the WEB Building, which will house the Spider-Man attraction. I wouldn’t be surprised as Walt Disney Imagineering tinkers with Stuntronics we see the tech end up inside an indoor attraction someday.
The Spider-Man Stuntronic will be in his Avengers Campus suit that was specifically designed for the land. The suit was designed by Ryan Meinerding, Head of Visual Development at Marvel Studios.
When it comes to Avengers Campus make sure you are following Boardwalk Times on all the new developments in this Marvel-themed land. The land will feature:
The Worldwide Engineering Brigade which will house the new Spider-Man attraction where guests can sling webs alongside Spider-Man himself.
Pym Test Kitchen, an all-new eatery, where Pym Technologies Researchers are using Ant-Man and the Wasp’s growing and shrinking technology to create super-sized and super small foods.
Seeing Super Heroes including Spider-Man, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther and the Dora Milaje, Thor and Loki, Iron Man and for the first time, Ant-Man and The Wasp.
There will also be a real-life Avengers Headquarters which is rumored to act as a meet and greet space, as well as feature some sort of show. In a later phase of Avengers Campus, there will be an Avengers E-Ticket attraction where guests will be able to fight alongside the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
Avengers Campus opens this summer at Disney’s California Adventure.
