Shanghai Disneyland Reopens Tomorrow

After being closed for 106 days due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Tomorrow Shanghai Disneyland will begin its phased reopening.

Shanghai Disney Resort will be the first resort back up and opened to a limited amount of guests. The resort has been closed the longest out of all the Disney resorts as it was shut down on January 25, 2020.

Shanghai Disneyland Senior Vice President of Operations Andrew Bolstein took the media on a tour of the park and what will be changed. Here is the video, it’s definitely worth a watch:

Bolstein showcases the new measures Shanghai Disneyland is taking. Including utilizing the Health QR code app and temperature checks. Bolstein discusses that meet and greets will be reimagined as the characters won’t be near guests. The video shows that an attraction like Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle of the Sunken Treasure will have guests in every other row. So, there won’t be any guests behind you on the boats.

Just a reminder that Shanghai Disneyland will be running at less than 30% capacity. They are also doing dated tickets which sold out for tomorrow.

Tomorrow a new era in the Disney Parks start.
