The restaurant is actually named after the Muppet Sam Eagle. Although Disney didn’t reveal that at first for Regal Eagle Smokehouse. The new fast-casual restaurant will be in The American Adventure within the World Showcase at Epcot. The new food spot will also feature merchandise that includes Sam Eagle.
The patriotic Muppet’s presence in The American Adventure is a welcomed one by many. The new logo will be a sign as you walk in.
Regal Eagle Smokehouse is also the site of “Sam’s Centennial Cook-Off: A Salute to All Cook-Offs but Mostly Barbecue.” Guests will benefit from the cook-off. Here is the menu for Regal Eagle Smokehouse. A poster hyping the event will also be included inside the restaurant.
The Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue will be opening soon. Even if it is very small it seems like Disney found a unique way to incorporate The Muppets into a new restaurant. This will help give the new fast-casual restaurant immediate character and charm.
