It’s been a while since I first stepped into Be Our Guest restaurant but I still remember the enchanting experience. This is another restaurant that has a fantastic theme that is truly better than the food. This may be a essential theme in Restaurant Focus.
I haven’t had the chance to try breakfast at Be Our Guest. I hope to do so someday. So I could add on to my experience at the restaurant.
This restaurant doesn’t cater to kids as much as you would think. Of course you would think any princess related restaurant would cater to the children right? Well you are wrong, and Be Our Guest makes it clear that it wants to stay in character. If you do have kids with you. It depends on what type of eater your kid is. Even the Mickey Kid’s Meals are way different then back in my day. If your kid is kinda in between on the verge of graduating a kid menu yet still sometimes uses kid menus. Let him or her use a adult menu especially at Be Our Guest.
My top recommendation at Be Our Guest is French Onion Soup. It’s a great starter especially after a long day in the parks. The Entrèes seem less unique then they use to be. I would still go for the steak at Be Our Guest. The menu seems similar to the Disney Cruise Lines now that I think about it. Both Be Our Guest and the cruises have strict culinary focus in all their restaurants. Nothing is considered normal on their menus yet it tastes fantastic. The dessert cart is usually magnificent. This is coming from a dessert lover of course. Next time I go to Be Our Guest I plan on getting The “Grey Stuff” made famous by the song “Be Our Guest.”
Now onto the real part of Be Our Guest. The overall theming and recreating environments that are beloved.
There are three dining rooms located inside of Be Our Guest. The first being the ballroom where Belle and Beast danced. The windows are screens usually projecting snow falling on the outside. From the lighting, to the murals, and to the floor everything looks stunning. Then there is a gallery featuring a wooden music box depicting Belle and Beast. The final room is the forbidden West Wing where the Enchanted Rose is kept.
So where did I eat? What section you may ask. I ate in the forbidden West Wing which was a exhilarating experience. Storms and every few minutes we would get a lightning special effect. Portraits of the prince pre beast mode getting slashed. The pedals gently falling off one by one. To top all of this off I got to experience a WEDDING PROPOSAL. It happened right in front of the rose.
Half of Be Our Guest went into a Daniel Bryan-styled “YES” chant, and the other half did a impromptu Chef Mickey’s “Celebrate” swing your napkin around. Things can get magical at the happiest place on earth.
Be Our Guest Restaurant is a enchanting Disney dining experience. The restaurant is the top model for any future Disney themed restaurant. The food is great, and the theming is impeccable. I hope to check out Be Our Guest again real soon.
