Dole has tons of soft serve options. Will we ever see these creations introduced into the Disney Parks?
Strawberry
This is actually one of Dole’s featured soft serve flavors. Strawberry could also tie in with a lot of seasonal and Disney IP. I am surprised this flavor hasn’t invaded Aloha Isle or Disney’s Polynesian Resort yet.
Dole Whip Split
Think of a Banana split but instead with pineapple and a lot more Dole Whip! Soft serve along with actual fruit makes this an interesting future option.
Booze Whip
This item may already exist. Although we haven’t seen it truly hit main stream in Disney Parks. Probably due to Disney Park’s complicated relationship with alcohol. Maybe we could see this in Epcot in the World Showcase? Doubt we would ever see this in Walt’s Kingdom.
To note I wouldn’t like to try this item but I know a ton of people who would.
Dole Whip Mickey Bar
This is one of the more radical reinventions on this list. Just imagine the American Classic. The Mickey Bar that is known for its chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Changes into a Dole Whip filled Mickey Bar. It may sound weird but I’m sure it would have impressive flavor.
Maybe we call it a Stitch bar? Let’s keep the food thematically consistent.
Orange
While writing this article I was going to suggest going for just an orange flavor of Dole Whip. Maybe infuse it with Fanta Orange. That is my favorite type of orange pop. Now Disney has announced that they have removed the Citrus Swirl and replaced it with the Orange Swirl.

You may be wondering what the difference is between the Citrus and Orange swirl. They look relatively the same but according to recent reviews they do not taste the same. Disney really went out of their way to push Orange.
That’s why if you want another spinoff Dole Whip make one with just Orange. Preferably with Fanta Orange. Trust me it will sell.
Lemon-Lime
Another flavor that was featured on Dole’s soft serve site. Lemon-Lime is a popular flavor mix in pop. How would it translate over to Dole Whip form? One can only imagine how it would taste. Disney also has Coca-Cola products at their disposal. Sprite maybe the flavor they would try to replicate with this Dole Whip. Disney likes being bold, and introducing lemon-lime would definitely do that.
Dole-Whip Cookies
This item wouldn’t actually contain physical Dole Whip. It would just use the flavoring and pineapple to it’s advantage. A Dole Whip cookie seems like a fascinating thing to try. I’m surprised it hasn’t been invented at the parks.
Dole-Whip Muffins
Another bakery item to the list. A fluffy muffin that has the taste of a Dole Whip? Sign me up.
Disney is bound to reinvent the Dole Whip sooner or later. At the very least try to spin it off. Any of the options above would be brilliant choices. They may not all taste good but some of them may catch on. Disney still strives to be creative with their food. Reinventing the Dole Whip can lead to more things then we think.
For now we can enjoy our Dole Whips and Orange Swirls. Rest in peace, Citrus Swirls. (Although you are basically still around but with a rebranded name.)
