Today, Disney held its Investor Day, and while we expected more announcements regarding Premier Access. We did get one and that is Raya and the Last Dragon will premiere in theaters and on Disney+ Premier Access on March 5. Disney+ Premier Access means that the film will be available on March 5 on Disney+ but it will cost $30.
Walt Disney Animation Chief Creative Officer Jennifer Lee revealed more details from Raya and the Last Dragon. While showcasing photos of some of the characters. Lee also mentioned that Raya and the Last Dragon is one of the first Walt Disney Animation films that was ever completed while at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Raya and the Last Dragon features the voices of Kelly Marie Tran and Awkwafina. The film will premiere in theaters and on Disney+ Premier Access on March 5.
