Ranking the Disney Holiday Candy Bars

Time to taste the Disney Parks holiday candy bars.

This is my first time trying the Disney Parks Holiday candy bars. There are flavors I’m excited to try, and they’re flavors I am kinda nervous to try! I’m going to sample a little bit of each one. So, let’s begin the rankings!

5. Eggnog

The Eggnog bar was dreadful. Gag-worthy. I get Eggnog is a holiday season drink but as a candy bar flavor, it needs an immediate retirement.

4. Dark Chocolate Peppermint Crunch

This bar is ranked so low because it’s just honestly a strange combination of flavors. The dark chocolate has potential but it’s overtaken by this Peppermint crunch. When I’m eating a candy bar I don’t want it to taste like a bunch of mints, if I wanted a mint I would get a mint.

3. Dark Chocolate Sea Salt

The Disney dark chocolate flavor strikes again. It’s so close to greatness but falls once again. The dark chocolate is overtaken by sea salt. Like the entire bar is just salty. This bar needed caramel or something to balance it out. But still, it beats Eggnog and the Peppermint crunch by a lot.

2. Milk Chocolate Marshmallow

This was the flavor I was most excited for. And like the previous three bars… it let me down. Who would’ve thought candy would’ve been this depressing? Still, Milk Chocolate Marshmallow is impressive enough to get by the other three flavors. Similar to adding caramel to the last candy bar, I think Disney should’ve added graham crackers or something to this. Yeah, s’mores aren’t associated with Christmas really but I think it would’ve made a better bar. It edges out the other three bars.

1. Milk Chocolate

The traditional flavor wins it. It still wasn’t anything groundbreaking but still, it beats out the other four. It’s probably the safest — and most normal — tasting bar of the bunch. I think if there was a normal dark chocolate bar that would’ve went head to head with milk chocolate but in the end, the Milk Chocolate bar wins.

Conclusion

This was my first time (and probably last time) trying the Disney holiday candy bars until Disney decides to get new flavors.

In all honesty, I’m going to probably enjoy eating this D-O Rice Krispie treat more. D-O is from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and well, of course, he already has a Rice Krispie treat before Baby Yoda just because.
