Pixar is taking giant strides in original content for Disney’s successful streaming service, Disney+. They’ve announced three new original series coming to the platform through the next few years.
The first is Dug Days, a spinoff of the 2009 film Up. The show follows the adorable talking dog Dug as he “discovers the dangers of suburbia like puppies, fireworks, and… SQUIRRELS,” according to Disney’s official Twitter account. Dug Days premieres on Disney+ in Fall 2021.

The next release follows some of our favorite pals from Radiator Springs. This Cars series will take Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater on a road trip around the country in Fall 2022.

The last original series that Pixar announced is a brand new story. Win-or-Lose will be Pixar’s first long-form animated series. A tweet from Pixar explains “The show follows a middle school softball team in the week leading up to their championship game, and each episode is told from the perspective of a different character.” Win-or-Lose comes to Disney+ in Fall 2023.
