Well, it looks like Oscar Isaac may be working with Disney for years to come. According to multiple publications, Isaac is in talks to star in Disney+’s Moon Knight which comes from Marvel Studios. This would mean that Oscar Isaac would become a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Oscar Isaac previously had roles in Fox’s Marvel universe (X-Men: Apocalypse) and Sony’s Marvel universe (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse).
Jeremy Slater will serve as showrunner and executive producer. Slater developed Netflix’s popular series The Umbrella Academy. Moon Knight in the comics follows mercenary Marc Spector who has multiple personalities.
Moon Knight currently has no director attached to the series. The Oscar Isaac news comes at a time where a lot of these MCU Disney+ series are ramping up. Both She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel have found their stars in Tatiana Maslany and Iman Vellani.
Obviously, like all major MCU castings, we are going to have to wait and see until it is officially confirmed by Disney and Marvel Studios.
