Once Upon a Time is arriving on Disney+ this Friday. It has been on Netflix for a while now but this show will provide another good series for Disney+. The show originally aired on ABC from 2011 to 2018. The show also attracted a dedicated fan base throughout the years. Disney+ adding Once Upon a Time is an exciting possibility for a couple of reasons.
I don’t want to spoil the show but Once Upon a Time also travels to notable and familiar locations within the Disney and fairy tale universe. I think the addition of Once Upon a Time to Disney+ is a good move. I hope we see more shows similar to it come to Disney+in the future. Once Upon a Time could be the blueprint for Disney+ to venture into more adult-oriented Disney series.
The show combined the characters and worlds from Disney, popular Western literature, folklore, Arthurian legend, Greek mythology, and the tales of Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Andersen.
The series was created by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. The cast includes Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming, Jared S. Gilmore as Henry, Lana Parilla as the Evil Queen, Colin O’Donoghue as Hook, and Robert Carlyle as Rumpelstiltskin.
Once Upon a Time drops on Disney+ this Friday.
