Surprise! It looks like Loews Hotels leaked the opening date and concept art for the Universal Stella Nova Resort, which is located near Universal’s Epic Universe.
According to the website, Universal Stella Nova Resort will have an opening date of January 21, 2025. It is expected the Epic Universe will be soft opening around this time so it makes sense to have the hotels open and ready for the influx of guests. From the concept art, it looks like Stella Nova and its sister hotel Terra Luna will have the same colored tiles on their exterior changing from warm and bright colors to cool and darker colors.
One thing to also note is the completed road and intersection that are both under construction now. This road and elevated intersection will carry the bus lanes and vehicle lanes from Epic Universe to Universal Orlando Resorts’ main campus.
Taking a look at the ground floor restaurant, notice the very space-like architecture including the walls and lights shaped as large planets hanging from the ceiling.
Inside the lobby, you may notice these lights are curved resembling comet trails while the chairs look like stars against the night sky. There are also a couple of very beautiful murals of space that form a seating area near the back.
Taking a look at the rooms themselves, they of course continue the space theme, and even the windows are shaped like space shuttle windows. I am a massive fan of the color blue so I like the color tones in this rendering.
The bathroom is a bit brighter and all white of course and it even comes with a light-up mirror.
Here is a site plan of what each room with two separate beds is going to look like. It looks as though the bathroom is to the right of where you enter the room and the beds and lounging areas are near the window. The window shows a space sky outside so I wonder if that is just for the rendering or if there will be an option to make the window digital and show a space-like view at night time?
Lastly, let’s journey outside to the very expansive pool area. You can see this pool will be very large and have plenty of poolside seating. There will be a children’s splash pad and play area separate from the main pool, signifying this is certainly a family hotel.

“Inspired by the infinite vastness of the unknown universe. Where galaxies spiral ever outward, and unknown worlds revolve around unnamed stars, Universal Stella Nova Resort, opening January 21, 2025, is your new gateway to Universal Orlando Resort.”
Well, what do you think of the new Universal Stella Luna Resort? It seems like a space-themed version of Dockside and Surfside which is pretty awesome and I love the theming throughout the entire hotel from the exterior down to the rooms themselves.
