Michelle Rejwan Steps Down As SVP At Lucasfilm, Will Stay On As Producer At Walt Disney Studios & Lucasfilm

Rejwan steps down as SVP at Lucasfilm but will stay in the fold as a producer.

Michelle Rejwan is leaving her position of Senior Vice President, Live Action Development & Production at Lucasfilm. Rejwan is returning to being a full-time producer and has signed an overall deal with Walt Disney Studios and Lucasfilm. Rejwan will be based out of the Lucasfilm offices and continue to develop projects for Lucasfilm and Disney.

Rejwan has been a member of the Lucasfilm Creative Brain Trust since 2015. Rejwan was named Senior Vice President, Live Action Development & Production in 2019. Rejwan in that role oversaw all theatrical and direct-to-consumer live-action content and was responsible for identifying and delivering future projects for Lucasfilm while shaping and implementing the creative strategy for Star Wars and Lucasfilm.

Rejwan most recently served as executive producer for Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor, and the upcoming Willow Disney+ series. Rejwan is also slated to produce Taika Waititi’s Star Wars film. Rejwan also served as a producer on 2019’s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and co-producer on 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awaken.
