Today, Walt Disney Studios hosted a presentation at CinemaCon showcasing its 2024 film slate. The crown jewel of Disney’s 2024 slate is Deadpool & Wolverine.

The Disney CinemaCon presentation started with a Deadpool & Wolverine “silence your phone” PSA. The PSA starts with Deadpool and Wolverine talking about Secret Wars. Then a phone ring interrupts their conversation. This leads to Wolverine breaking the fourth wall and cussing out the audience to turn off their phones. I’m sure the theater owners were having a field day with this PSA and are probably hoping they can use it ahead of Deadpool & Wolverine in July.

Later in the presentation, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige dropped a couple of “F-bombs” to get the crowd excited for Deadpool & Wolverine. Director Shawn Levy then showed nine minutes of footage to the crowd that is relatively spoiler-free.

*Potential minor spoilers for Deadpool & Wolverine ahead*

The footage kicks off with Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) now trying to live a new life as a car salesman and he works with his former X-Force team member Peter (Rob Delaney). Peter takes Wade back to his apartment for a surprise party to celebrate his birthday and the characters from the previous films are there, including Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead similar to the footage from the Super Bowl. The new footage however reveals Wade is no longer with Vanessa (Morena Baccarin).

Just like we saw in the Super Bowl commercial, the TVA comes to get Wade Wilson. Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen) offers Deadpool the chance to save the MCU’s sacred timeline from a looming threat. Deadpool makes a remark about cameos. There is also a scene where Paradox shows Deadpool a future scenario of Thor crying over Deadpool’s body. Deadpool in the footage also says “F*** you, Fox, I’m going to Disneyland.” Deadpool also quips with Wolverine over his costume.

I wouldn’t be shocked if we see this footage in trailers and commercials as we get closer to Deadpool & Wolverine.

Deadpool & Wolverine premieres July 26.
