After Harmonious had its last performance on April 2, EPCOT fans have waited to see what new spectacular Walt Disney Imagineering would be bringing to the park. During Destination D23 it was announced that the new nighttime spectacular would be called Luminous: The Symphony of Us. Which I have to admit reminds me a ton of IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.

Luminous: The Symphony of Us will feature fireworks, fountains, lasers, lighting effects, and music. The new nighttime spectacular will debut on Walt Disney’s birthday on December 5.

Luminous: The Symphony of Us will replace Harmonious, which ran for two years and received mixed reviews from fans. Here is to hoping that Luminous can win over guests similar to how Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom and Wondrous Journeys at Disneyland did.

Are you excited about Luminous: The Symphony of Us?
