Disney fans have been pondering where the new Star Wars resort will be located. Although most speculated near Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. It has been officially confirmed by a new permit from South Florida Water Management District. That guest staying at the hotel will drive from the parking lot of Hollywood Studios over the drainage canal to the front entrance of the hotel. So the resort is very close to the actual park which was a no-brainer.
There will be a pathway for guests to walk to the special entrance for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The entrance would put guests right in between the First Order Battle Escape attraction and the Millennium Falcon attraction.
Looking at the permit there will be limited on-site parking for the hotel. Disney may end up doing a lot of valet parking. The resort should be a smaller, rectangular shape. The resort will have low capacity due to its immersive and boutique experience. Disney has already revealed what some of the interior of the resort will look like.
