Looks like we’re going to have to wait just a little bit longer for Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. In a Twitter post on Friday, TT Games announced that the company would not be able to make the intended spring release date as reported last August.
“All of us at TT Games are working hard to make LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga the biggest and best-ever Lego game,” the company said on Twitter. “But we’re going to need more time to do it.”

The very first official trailer for the game was shown on May the Fourth on the official Star Wars YouTube channel and at the end of the video, a release date of October 20, 2020, was shown. However, this appeared to be a mistake because the video was replaced and the date changed to just 2020.
There was another slip-up with accidentally released information when the Lego.com game page was reportedly updated on August 26 and showed that the game would be delayed until 2021. It was quickly taken down and the Spring 2021 release date was announced at GamesCom2020.

In their statement, TT said the company won’t be able to make its intended release date this spring, but will provide updates on the official launch as soon as possible.
