The short answer is yes.
There have been several people working on the new TV-MA rated Marvel Disney+ series, Echo, that have answered the question of canon in relation to the old Netflix Daredevil series. It has all been quite hard to truly grasp without direct links to the past show mentioned in Kingpin and Daredevil’s recent appearances. Despite their similar costumes and the actors reprising their roles.

As of January 4th, 2024, we have an official answer. The Marvel Studios ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) page released a short spot that contains footage from the first two seasons of the Daredevil Netflix series. It also has the series’ logo and a notifier that it is available to stream on Disney+.
In 5 DAYS, Kingpin returns.

The spot is to inform newcomers about Kingpin’s origins and how they can see his full story, available now, before the release of Echo. Brad Winterbaum, Head of Streaming, Television and Animation at Marvel Studios, also considers the show a part of the MCU “Sacred Timeline” which is the canon sequence of events in all the non-multiverse films and shows, as reported by Screen Rant. Vincent D’Onofrio, who was once also subtle on the canon question, also called the series canon in an interview with Comic Book Central.
All five episodes of Marvel Studios’ Echo stream on Tuesday, January 9th at 6 p.m. PT on Disney+ and Hulu.
