Pixar is one of the most recognizable movie brands on planet Earth. Yet at Walt Disney World there isn’t a lot of Pixar attractions yet. After looking at a recent study I realized there wasn’t as many as I thought. These are the Pixar properties that could be used in the parks.
Coco

This would just be a simple overlay of the Gran Fiesta Tour. I have not seen Coco yet (Yes I already hear the “shame” chants). So I can’t really describe my dream attraction from the film. Some suggest a hanging trolley attraction that would follow the plot with the music in the backdrop.
Wall-E

A dark ride retelling of Wall-E could be a interesting possibility. A sequel dark ride could be even better. Taking moments after the ending of Wall-E. What his new role on Earth could be. The attraction could even start in space and end on Earth. There is so many possibilities that could be used for Wall-E. I’m sure Walt Disney Imagineering has done some Blue Sky for Wall-E. It would be interesting to see what type of concepts they have come up with.
The Incredibles

The Incredibles is a popular property that is long overdue for a park attraction. It’s happening at a cost though. Disney is replacing fan-favorite California Screamin’ with The Incredicoaster! What could Disney do for The Incredibles down in Florida? Well dark rides are always a safe bet. Especially considering the fact more action happens in properties like Marvel and Star Wars. So an action attraction around a Pixar property would feel lighter than normal.
A Dash coaster does make a lot of sense considering that he is fast. If we were being honest though. If The Incredibles ever made a coaster at WDW. It would have to be a indoor coaster. Makes the attraction feel faster when your in the dark. Add in a cameo of Frozone and you are looking at a fun family attraction.
I sincerely hope I didn’t give Disney an idea to replace Space Mountain with The Incredibles…
More Finding Nemo/Dory

Finding Dory will be getting a new attraction at Tokyo DisneySea. Many have speculated that The Seas with Nemo and Friends would be re-themed to The Marine Life Institute.
The SeaRider from Tokyo DisneySea could possible come to the states. Although Finding Dory and Finding Nemo gives Walt Disney Imagineering options for more fun attractions.
Up

A group of students from the University of Southern California came up with a fantastic concept for the Up during the Disney Imaginations design competition.
An attraction based on Up would just be wild. It’s a beloved Pixar film and doesn’t have a park presence. The attraction using a robotic arm would be a neat twist for a Disney ride. More non-traditional simulator rides would be good for the parks.
Inside Out

Awhile back it was revealed that Disney had a patent for mood sensing technology.

The ride experience will reflect on what your feeling that day. What wonderful property would this work for? You guessed it, it’s Inside Out. The film about emotions would be perfect for an attraction about emotions. Inside Out is such a creative property.
The property could even do a simulator, a rollercoaster, or just a classic dark ride. Possibilities are endless for Inside Out. It also has been heavily rumored that Inside Out would replace Journey into Imagination with Figment. There is a Figment easter egg in the film which furthers the case.
Pixar has wonderful properties at its disposal. Any of the above would make Walt Disney World more interesting for the future. Especially Wall-E and Up that are currently non-existent in all of the parks.
I guess we will have to wait and see what rumors start to pop up in 2018.
