Eman Esfandi will play Ezra Bridger in the upcoming Star Wars series Ahsoka, a report from Cinelinx says. The Hollywood Reporter has corroborated the news, confirming longtime rumors the Star Wars Rebels character will appear in live action.
Originally rumored after the first mention of Thrawn and the title logo for the series Ahsoka, Ezra Bridger’s arrival into live-action will answer questions about his fate at the end of Star Wars Rebels.
The news comes after rumors that Aladdin (2019) star Mena Massoud would be taking on the role.
Ahsoka is set to premiere 2023 on Disney+.
