The last day of operation for both Pin Central and Electric Umbrella will be February 15. A new walkway will open on February 16 to help with the traffic flow within Epcot due to the massive amount of construction going on in Future World.
Pin Central, Electric Umbrella, and other food and merchandise carts will be closing. Your last chance to experience these things in their current environment will be February 15. Closing Electric Umbrella will leave a huge gap in the quick-service options. Disney recently unveiled Eats at the Epcot Experience and will soon open an expanded Taste Track that serves burgers and fries.
On top of all that the new Space 220 Restaurant should be arriving at Future World soon despite experiencing delays. Over in the World Showcase, Regal Eagle Smokehouse Craft Drafts & Barbecue should open fairly soon also. So, food options in Epcot are about to get more creative.
Electric Umbrella was a relic in time. Like most things in this Future World overhaul. It’s surprising the restaurant made it to 2020. Here’s to hoping the next space Disney creates is just as fun because Epcot is currently looking like a construction kingdom for the near future.
