While Disneyland remains closed indefinitely with no reopening date in sight. Disney Parks News Twitter account dropped a statement announcing that Disneyland would be ending its annual passholders program.

It’s never a good sign when that navy and baby blue background shows up.

Disney is currently developing a new membership offering and annual passholders will still get refunds. The Disneyland annual passholders program was beyond popular. A lot of passholders were able to get annual passes at great prices. The next offering Disney develops will be interesting to watch.

But at a time where Disneyland hasn’t been open for almost a year and its reopening is nowhere in sight. A move like this makes a lot of sense. Now Disneyland Resort can prioritize a better way for its guests to access its parks once it finally reopens.

If you’re a Disneyland annual passholder, Disneyland President Ken Potrock released a full statement explaining the move and how certain members will be refunded. You can read that statement here.
