The rest of Walt Disney World will remain closed but Disney Springs will begin its phased reopening on May 20. Disney Springs reopening will incorporate enhanced safety measures, including increased cleaning procedures, the use of appropriate face coverings by both cast members and guests, limited-contact guest services and additional safety training for cast members. More protocols are set to be announced as we approach closer to May 20.
So, you may wonder if no Disney-owned stores or restaurants are going to be opened on the 20th what will be? Well here is what we know will be open so far:
Wine Bar George
The restaurant will reopen May 20 at noon and it will follow stricter measures to ensure social distancing and food safety.
STK Orlando
The steakhouse will also reopen on May 20. Although we don’t know the specifics of STK’s plan in this phased reopening.
Häagen-Dazs Ice Cream
Yes, there will be ice cream at Disney Springs on reopening day. Although it is unclear what measures Häagen-Dazs will use to ensure food safety and social distancing.
Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill
Wolfgang Puck will open around noon on reopening day. Reservations are now available.

The food truck will be taking all the necessary steps as outlined by state and local officials as well as the CDC.

The Polite Pig
All indoor seating will be at 25% capacity. Guests will be able to eat outside also.

We are thrilled to announce that The Boathouse will be opening with Disney Springs on May 20th at 11am. We will also be opening our Vintage Amphicar rides and The Boathouse Boatique at the same time. We have opened our reservation book and all reservations will be guaranteed inside seating. We will seat the inside dining rooms at a 25% capacity, so reservations will be limited. If you are unable to get a reservation, walk-in parties will be accepted for outdoor seating. We have a large patio and will be following the CDC guidelines with regards to table spacing. We are requiring that all customers while at the Boathouse follow the sanitation guidelines that have been set by Disney Springs. We have taken extra precautions to ensure the safety of our staff and customers. With everyone’s cooperation we will be able to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
