Disney Games announced a brand new hero-based combat racing game called Disney Speedstorm at the D23 Expo on Friday.
Fans can take the wheel as their favorite Disney character and race through various maps from multiple Disney IPs, including the world of Mickey Mouse, Pirates of the Caribbean and Pixar’s Monster’s Inc.
While new characters and dynamic racing tracks will be added to the platform regularly, today Disney revealed an exclusive look at the first season update inspired by Monster’s Inc. Sulley, Mike Wazowski, Celia Mae and Randall have all been imagined as high-speed racers. On the new track, “The Factory,” you can race through the warehouse where all of the doors are stored!
There’s no release date on the calendar yet, but Disney Parks Blog reports Disney Speedstorm will be fully available as a free-to-play title with in-app purchases anywhere you play games.
